Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru Episode 5 - A Dramatic Turn

SUP! Tadashi here and today I'll be talking about the 5th episode of Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru which quickly resolves the "Black Lace" Kawasaki problem and deals a dramatic turn of events at the end.

bakabakabakabaka

Hikky finds out the truth and that it was Yui's dog that he had saved in the past the resulted in his accident. Hikky is a smart guy - to an extent. He's been through it all and it's quite understandable his take on the situation. Yui is a nice girl. A really nice girl. He believes that Yui is only acting like his friend because she feels guilty about causing the accident. Now in reality, that's not true (as we all know, she also has feelings for him and if you didn't figure that out ...well uhh) but Hikky is almost afraid of being close to someone. He's been isolated his whole life and been treated quite poorly. He's had his fair share of mixed signals in the past and he's learned that nothing good results from them. When you've been lonely that long, you tend to close yourself off and become a bitter person. That's why he took this stance and told Yui he doesn't need her to do that. He said it best himself: "I hate nice girls" which is completely understandable.
I just wonder how this whole situation is going to be resolved.

Of course, the episode did feature some more funny moments. One of the best moments is the reason why you don't ask women why they aren't married yet...

Besides from the dramatic turn at the end, we got to see gorgeous sides of Yui and Yukinon. First we have Yui in a maid outfit:

*nosebleeds*
Annnnnnd can we also take some time to appreciate (or be angry) at how lucky Hikky really is?!

/jealous
Anyways, overall, I did feel a little of the quality drop. Maybe it was my screen but I dunno... I also like the dramatic turn it brought in. Really makes things more interesting.
Hikky's monologue at the end was really dark this time in comparison of the others. But from his perspective, it really shows how much he's been through and how much he's afraid to "open up" and move forward. Next episode seems to focus on those two so it'll be good.

More Yui...<3

At this rate, I'm going to have to make a separate album/page for her...xD

See you guys next episode!
